Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Area Arboricultural Advice
Trees which are protected by Tree Preservation Orders or protected because they are within a Conservation Area require a planning application before works can be carried out on them.
Working on a tree without the consent of the Local Authority is a criminal offence. The courts have powers to fine anyone contravening a Tree Preservation Order. The maximum fine is £20,000 for destroying a tree and up to £2,500 for anyone who does not completely destroy a tree but has carried out some other works without consent.
We provide you with the arboricultural justification which the Local Authority requires. This is in order to ensure best practice tree works are approved and the tree(s) will not suffer irreparable damage due to inappropriate works.
We can troubleshoot tree related issues, if pests and diseases are causing damage to your trees or we can identify environmental issues which could be causing trees to die. Environmental issues such as drought or soil poisoning.
Woodland Management Guidance
Woodland management guidance, we offer services to suit you, from a walk through with a chat or a full report. Advising on your woodland’s future management, taking on board your aims for the woodland, be them to increase biodiversity, flora and fauna or establish a path through your woods with glades and open areas where wild flowers such as bluebells and primroses can flourish.
We provide tree related subsidence reports to satisfy insurance company requirements. With an assessment of the outside of your property together with distances and measurements of trees nearby, we then assess the likelihood of trees causing underground damage to your property.
